What i'm trying to do is broadcast from an IOS device but only aac, lpcm, u-law, and a-law are supported. What would i need to do to stream/broadcast either of these formats from an IOS device without additional codecs.
First, get our software running on iOS. Then, use our RTSP server implementation (you could use the "testOnDemandRTSPServer" demo application as a model) to stream your input media. (See the FAQ for how to adapt the "testOnDemandRTSPServer" code to use a live input source.)
