No, you don't need this information. Our RTP reception
implementation takes care of this automatically, so that your
receiver is presented with whole, properly-ordered frames.

Dumb question: what if a frame is lost on the wire? For example, if
it's H.264, and a keyframe was lost, does that information not need
to be conveyed to the decoder?
Probably not. The decoder knows what kind of frame it's getting each time.
