As you can see here : http://mailman.videolan.org/pipermail/vlc-devel/2009-April/058284.html it does not really solve the issue. It seems to be because of my patch you applied in 2008.11.13 version, for timeout values. I am not using windows at all, so I can't test this, and I am not able to fix this. If you don't know what's wrong, maybe you can revert this patch ? Then we would wait for you RTSPClient rework.
