I thought the fDuration is related to the frame rate? We have a hardware encoder and we save the contents to a file before we stream them out. When play the file locally with VLC, it looks a 720P60, but at the remote VLC RTSP client side it is 720P30(or less) - visually it is not as smooth.
I am not familiar with the live555 (or C++ in general). So I am not sure if the schedulTask or fDuration has anything to do with the above. May not?!?! --- On Tue, 3/10/09, Ross Finlayson <finlay...@live555.com> wrote: > From: Ross Finlayson <finlay...@live555.com> > Subject: Re: [Live-devel] frame rate supported > To: "LIVE555 Streaming Media - development & use" <live-de...@ns.live555.com> > Date: Tuesday, March 10, 2009, 9:19 PM > > Does current live555 support 60 > fps? say 720p60? any parameters in this area? > > Frame rate and dimension parameters are carried within the > video data itself (and therefore is specific to the video > codec, and has nothing to do with RTSP or RTP). > -- > Ross Finlayson > Live Networks, Inc. > http://www.live555.com/ > _______________________________________________ > live-devel mailing list > live-devel@lists.live555.com > http://lists.live555.com/mailman/listinfo/live-devel > _______________________________________________ live-devel mailing list live-devel@lists.live555.com http://lists.live555.com/mailman/listinfo/live-devel
