Maybe I'm off topic, but I'd like to know your opinion about these books:

I haven't read any of these, but I'm sure that the first book is good
(and very relevant to the "LIVE555 Streaming Media" software),
because the author, Colin Perkins, was heavily involved with the
development and standardization of RTP/RTCP.
