I've just implemented a very simple DirectShow RTSP Source filter using the live555 library which can receive 8/16 bit PCM from an RTSP server at various sampling rates. I'm hoping to add other media types such as mp3 at a later stage if time allows it.
I've seen a couple of queries relating to the live555 and DirectShow integration on this mailing list and the source code could prove to be helpful to someone that is new to either or both frameworks.
