Just wanted to inform that i been trying the latest release.. and it
didn't sort the AAC Audio stream.
the vlc win32 version, handled the stream with no problem: "vlc rtsp://
--sout=stream.mp4", (while RealPlayer played it as well)
while using vlc under linux, compiled from source with LIVE555 rtsp.
("--enable-live555")
".mp4" file extension caused the audio to be corrupted, while the video
was fine.
".asf" file extension caused the video to be corrupted, while the audio
was fine.
but this setting sorted Video and Audio: vlc rtsp:// --sout
"#standard{access=file,mux=ts,dst="stream.mp4"}
so if anybody gets: RTSP AAC Audio streams issues with Axis IP Cameras,
this might help you sort it out.
(This was not documented in the mailing list, I thought it will help
others who will stumble the subjet in the future)
