Do you think I run into an "max open socket" limit (even if 210 is
much less than 65535)?
I don't know. But in any case, there's no preset limit in our code,
so you must be running into some limit in your OS. (Because you are
running multiple threads, perhaps you are running into a limit in the
number of threads per process. Perhaps you could instead try running
your clients as separate processes?)
