I'm using live555 to get streams from IP camera. Unfortunatelly ourSourceAddressForMulticast(GroupsockHelper) always timeouts, so before starting a stream, it always wait 5 sec. I think the problem's source must be some network configuration problem. Can anybody help me, how to configure the network for this purpose?
The most common reason for problems with this code is that IP multicast is not configured correctly on your system. Make sure that you have a route installed for 224/8.
