Thank you very much for your help first.
I have a packet loss problem when using the “live555MediaServer.exe” and
“openRTSP.exe” for streaming a mpg video file.
I am using the following setup.
Server PC: P4 1.8G, 1.5G Ram, WinXP.
Client 1: IBM T40, 1.25G Ram, WinXP
Client 2: Acer Notebook dual-core 1.7G, 1G Ram, WinXP
Router: Linksys WRT-54GL
Video source: 4 mins long mpeg2 (355 X 288)
The server and client PC connected to the router by cable.
I found the packet loss rate up to 10%. (2660 packets lost from 30100 packets)
Is it something wrong with my setup or something I did wrong? Anything can do
for improving the performance?
