The red purse is in good hands. Hmmm...should it make a MMSMOA appearance?

Hahaha! Who could forget the red purse!? Or the CompTrends Fire Sale? Or
the number of weddings we’ve witnessed/performed? The falls down a flight
of an escalator? Gartner dudes falling off of the stage? List members
“mic up” in the men’s room before going onto the keynote stage?
C’mon! This is our community’s history. We are what we are and
that’s all that we are! J

Nah, plenty old fish around on this list. They just don’t always bite…
Ed, got the purse ready for MMS?

I spend on average two hours a day combing through this list, Twitter,
LinkedIn groups, a half-dozen MSFT-hosted community sites/forums/etc., blog
feeds, you name it.
Makes me long for the days of Swynk.com (http://Swynk.com) when it was
the
definitive go-to site for all things SMS related. When things started to
spawn from there I started Boardfish.com (http://Boardfish.com) as an
aggregate of all the sites popping up with SMS and MOM content. Maybe back
in 2002 it was ahead of its time. Reddit.com (http://Reddit.com) launched a
few years later. Should have filed a patent! J

Twitter is still my #1 source. Such as hearing about docs.microsoft.com
(http://docs.microsoft.com) yesterday. I was mostly chasing my own tail on
the old Intune documentation. It was either behind or ahead of the
features in the product at the same time. And I have screenshots. J

I used to glean a ton of info off this list but the traffic has died
down
so much I’ve had to look elsewhere. What are everyone else’s favorite
place to get info these days? Even some of my Twitter feeds have
slackened.

It’s definitely not as active as it once was. Back when this was the
only place to talk about SMS. J

Did this list die off? Does not seem very active any more.
