Of course one would discuss it with a doctor.  (Why is the Urban Legends
site more believable than the testimony of someone who's been there?)  Even
IF it is a ficticious story, it is still worth checking out with one's
physician if the need arises.  There is nothing wrong with having a little
extra knowledge through whatever means is available.  You obviously didn't
understand the whole basis of the story........doctors sometimes misdiagnose
and we have to look out for ourselves by demanding tests that may find the
real cause of the problem.  No one is suggesting that anyone accepts medical
advice from strangers on the internet.  May we all enjoy good health and
never need any of this!
