As you may remember, Alvaro volunteered to work on the 8060bis document (the
LCAF specifications).
We did not have time to discuss the -00 version of the document at the last
meeting, but we did go over the plan Alvaro proposes, namely:
-00: rfc8060 + updated references + XMLv3 formatting. <WE ARE HERE>
-01: Changes to unapproved/experimental. Any other required changes + errata.
-02: WG review and comments
-03: Merge rfc9306
-04: WG review and comments
-05: Merge lisp-geo.
-06: WG review and comments
-07: Ready for WGLC.
As this is just moving the specifications to standard track and consoidating
the various pieces in one place, we can move relatively quickly toward adoption.
As such, this email formally opens the two weeks Call for Adoption.
If you are supporting adoption, please state so.
If you have concerns, please detail them.
The call will close on May 21, 2025.
