Hello,
I am running Monta Vista Hardhat Linux 2.1 on an ep405 with solaris 2.7 as the
host. I am able to download a zImage to the board using the Planetcore
bootloader, however when the kernel is booted I begin receiving garbage on the
host computer terminal. I continue receiving this garbage indefinetly, which
indicates to me that the kernel is still running. In my kernel configuration I
set the following parameters:
CONFIG_CMDLINE_BOOL=y
CONFIG_CMDLINE="console=ttyS0,9600"
I have tried setting my terminal to different baud rates and changing other
settings but nothing has worked. Here is basically what happens:

Am I setting the console parameter improperly or is there something else I need
