It isn’t able to communicate with Linux kernel, doesn’t have TCP MD5 functionality and IPv6 doesn’t work. It compiles for me in Debian Sid and I’m able to use it as route server. That’s all. It’s full of hacks and just commented out code. Why? I just needed bgpd daemon to gather a lot of as path info from it for analysis software. ~# time ./asas-quagga.rb 251.30s real 68.08s user 43.62s system ~# time ./asas-openbgpd.rb 28.71s real 10.38s user 5.30s system Will it have feature X? I’m not even sure that I will ever touch it again. It does what I need. If you want to work on it, go on, but don’t expect me even to answer to mails about it. Where? Download it here.
