It works when you switch to a hubframe tab manually; however, I can see there's no focus at all on the hubframe when it was in the foreground at the previous closure of the program and so it is restored as selected frame when you start DC++ next time. If you mean that, no focus on the chat input bar of a hub tab put into the foreground right after the start of DC++ then I can confirm.
