This can be done but I'd rather add online status to the public list (smililar 
way as it has been done in the fav hubs frame for the last release) so the list 
could be sorted by online status.
But please note that either way it is done, it might not entirely solve the 
problem of why this request has been created in the first place as explained in

  Hide hubs from the hublist which the user is already connected to

Bug description:
  Just as stated in the title: I think there is no need to display the hubs in 
the hublist which the user is already connected to.
  Some hubs still allow multiple connection from the same client and this would 
be one way to avoid this happenning occasionally.
