When using a recent operating system, applications generally stay in taskbar while they are minimized. Because of that, I'd assume that the tray icon is mainly used for notifications or quick operations (i.e. changing the limiter value) instead of minimizing/maximizing the main window. Double-click is also the standard behavior used by Microsoft and most of my other applications use it as well, unless the icon is related to a notification that might require user attention.
AirDC++ will now use double-click by default for restoration (unless there's a notification icon set) with an added option to restore the old behavior. ** Changed in: airdcpp Status: Fix Committed => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Dcplusplus-team, which is subscribed to DC++. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1225930 Title: [WishList] Change the system-tray client call behavoir Status in AirDC++: Fix Released Status in DC++: Fix Released Status in DiCe!++: New Bug description: Past versions of DC++ and its mods as well as the majority of windows software which utilizes the system-tray feature lets the user call the software by Double-Clicking its system-tray icon. However! In the later/DWT DC++ builds the property has been changed to single click which I and perhaps many others do not appreciate because it causes somewhat of a mindfuck and misclicking-frustrations as it's one of few softwares acting this way. Please change it back to the way it used to be.
