Based on my fancy "compile -> run -> reload -> reconnect" testing, the
crash is introduced in revision 629. I'd say that revisions 629 (and
630) should be reverted if there are no recent plans to fix those
issues. Revision 629 is bad also because it makes it impossible to
compile the hubsoft with any stable version of Visual Studio (VS2013
didn't seem to work with Scons).

Keeping unfinished (unstable) functionality in the trunk for that long
isn't good if your plan is to attract new developers.

  on +reload the hub goes down.
  on +showentity nick  nothing happens at all

  the settings are on to log

  seems to work in 2.9.0 but not in 2.11.0...
