Winamp is one application that uses single-click but I can forgive it for this because it doesn't flash me with a gigantic window that takes up 80-100% of my desktop area and nor does it autominimize itself when you click it again, that's why it works- with DC++ you'll have a disco- fever humping that icon.
imo: double-click -> window pops up + a cooldown timer of 1 or somethings seconds before being able to double click it again to minimize it, this way it feels more like a serious software because you cannot really click-spam-call it which people might do sometimes in frustration and actually... being able to click-spam-call somethings back and forth just feels very.. lame :x -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Dcplusplus-team, which is subscribed to DC++. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1225930 Title: FEAT|REQ: Change the system-tray client call behavoir Status in AirDC++: Fix Committed Status in DC++: Fix Committed Status in DiCe!++: New Bug description: Past versions of DC++ and its mods as well as the majority of windows software which utilizes the system-tray feature lets the user call the software by Double-Clicking its system-tray icon. However! In the later/DWT DC++ builds the property has been changed to single click which I and perhaps many others do not appreciate because it causes somewhat of a mindfuck and misclicking-frustrations as it's one of few softwares acting this way. Please change it back to the way it used to be.
