still happening with the latest version? if you have the courage,
deleting Hash* files that DC++ stores hash trees in and letting it
rehash everything from scratch would establish a nice testing point.
things may simply have gotten messed up over time.

Title:
  upon restart of dc++ it rehashes part of the share, even if no files
  where changed

Status in DC++:
  Expired

Bug description:
  when restarting dc++ it starts to rehash part of the share. It's
  rehashing between 20-30% of the share, even if no files or folders
  were changed. It's doing that at every new start and taking long time.
  Meanwhile share dropped that amount. After it's finished rehashing
  files end up with identical tth and uploads will resume.

  I'm using the latest DC++ version 0.811 on a Windows xp system
