I believe the PCI cards in the MP are emulated as LCS devices, so choose
that option.
Also - you will probably have to specify the exact ports to use if there
are CTC type devies also defined in that LPAR.

Please respond to
Linux on 390 Port
Hi to all,
I'm trying to install SuSE 7.0 Linux for S/390 on an MP3000 model P30 (P
as in Partners In Development, actually is an H30).
Using the SE Icon for Loading from CD, I get to the point when the install
kernel asks for the "Network Setup". I have selected "4 - Channel to
channel" and "2 - OSA Ethernet" but neither succeed in getting the PCI
Ethernet card ready for use, so I cannot get passed that point in the
install.
Does anyone has a clue on what's missing or mis-configured?
Thanks very much and all my best regards.
