Dear List: I have added a 16GB eMMC chip to my OrangePi Win Plus, with the intention of not having it hogging one of my microSD cards. (I may be one of the weird people that likes to hack hardware as well as software.) Now I need some help to put the actual system image into the eMMC. I have added the mmc2 section into the sun50i-a64-orangepi-winplus.dts file.
First question: boot device not found in U-boot SPL when USB booting. I cannot get U-Boot SPL to boot off USB. Each and every time I try to "sunxi-fel spl u-boot-sunxi-with-spl.bin" I get U-Boot SPL cannot find boot device error. Putting the very same U-Boot into a microSD card I do get U-Boot to load, and it can see the eMMC card without any problems. Now the question: what should I modify to get U-Boot to accept FEL booting? Second question: USB Mass Storage support for U-Boot. On some other boards I have played with there is a USB Mass Storage mode in U-Boot, that allows the computer to see the microSD card or eMMC as a USB mass storage device and load the system image that way. On my A64 board all I see is U-Boot complaining that the USB controller is not initialized. Third question: For my U-boot build, I am not seeing any BL31 output. Is it normal?
