Regardless of the final outcome. And also for being honest about deciding not to do anything after all. This "fel spl" command test only requires an Allwinner A80 board, any bootable SD card, maybe 5 minutes of time and no special skills. The http://linux-sunxi.org/FEL/USBBoot page contains all the necessary instructions. And some bootable SD card images are available at least for Cubieboard4 from the CubieTech website. I guess, I simply don't need to care because the ball is not in my court now. I also tried to see if I can maybe buy an A80 board myself. But it seems to be either out of stock or very expensive everywhere in the EU. The price is definitely not competitive with ODROID-XU4 by a large margin. So it's unlikely that I will ever get any A80 hardware. Bought a bunch of discounted pcDuino2 boards instead :-) -- Best regards, Siarhei Siamashka -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "linux-sunxi" group.
