Hi, I have few Point-of-View TAB-PR945 Android devices that are using A31 SoC.
What I have problem with is that I would need to get the device autostart after power restore. Ie if battery has been fully drained and charger is connected, I would need the device to come back on. I found that at least A10 support this kind of functionality and it is supposed to happen simply by changing power_start=0 to power_start=1 in fex/script.bin. (Or have I understood something wrong?) That power_start = 0 key is in the A31 script.bin as well, but changing that alone at least doesn't make the device wake on power restore. Would anyone know for sure does A31 support power_start = 1 ie automatic startup on power restore and what would need to be changed to achieve that? There seems to be also comments on the various forums that Android doesn't start on empty battery, but needs 10% of power. Well I have also few RK3066 based Android tablets and those at least start perfectly on power restore after battery empty. Can't tell for sure if battery really is empty or if the tab is configured to show empty and die on 10%. Even if that is how it's done, that would be OK for me on my A31 devices as well. The A31 devices seem to be miss behaving anyhow on below 5% of battery left. Any help would be great! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "linux-sunxi" group.
