Does anyone know of any patches (or plans for patches) for 2.2.18 final?
I have tried applying both Ingo's raid-2.2.18-A2 patch and Marcelo's
raid-2.2.18pre16-mt2.patch. Both fail with a handful of rejects,
including some significant looking ones in raid1.c
I tried hand merging the rejects from the raid-2.2.18-A2 patch in but I
apparently failed as when I tried to reboot it seemed to start up the raid
devices but was unable to mount my RAID-1 root fs.
I did not have any idea what was going on in the code I was patching, I
just tried to do it in a "sensible way" so for all I know the resulting
code was nonsense.
Has anyone already done this? I have some other patches I need to use
with 2.2.18 and RAID is the only one that isn't cooperating...
