What hardware are you on? OMSA 7.4 and ESXI are both VERY old, if the hardware is newer it may not function.

The VIB I installed is Dell_bootbank_OpenManage_7.4.0.2.ESXi500-0000. Yes this is an old ESXi install but all I want is to get the openmanage running. Now, I see idracadm installed ~ # find / | grep racadm /usr/lib/ext/dell/srvadmin/sbin/racadm-wrapper-idrac /usr/lib/ext/dell/srvadmin/bin/idracadm /usr/lib/ext/dell/srvadmin/lib/libracadmxt4.so.6 /usr/lib/ext/dell/srvadmin/lib/libracadmxt4.so.6.5.0 ~ # but I can't run it as it has a missing library just like mentioned in an ancient thread here (https://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg03439.html): ~ # /usr/lib/ext/dell/srvadmin/bin/idracadm /usr/lib/ext/dell/srvadmin/bin/idracadm: error while loading shared libraries: libargtable2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory ~ # _______________________________________________ Linux-PowerEdge mailing list [email protected] https://lists.us.dell.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-poweredge _______________________________________________ Linux-PowerEdge mailing list [email protected] https://lists.us.dell.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-poweredge
