Yeah, I have Hauppauge WinTV HVR 950 at hand. And when I use it
under my Ubuntu, I got only the video too.
When I dmesg, my ubuntu shows that audio stream was not handled correctly.
I think this is because the driver.
So you maybe wait for future driver to support this.
