We have reports that analog sound works connected from J3 on the board.
If to CD-in or AUX-in doesn't make a difference, except for the mixer
controls.

However, cx88-alsa is supported too.

Better picture, this goes on since years, but to adjust the minor controls is 
all.

On analog video, which has by far the highest throughput, it depends on
formats, size, deinterlacing etc. You have to know what you are doing.

The mpeg encoder needs firmware.

If you start a simple TV app on /dev/video0 and then "cat /dev/video1 >
my_high_load_;).mpg, you should see the difference.

The 2.6.18 was a good kernel, but you might consider to come a little
bit up, the guys have been working on it. If trying to use the v4l-dvb
master mercurial, take Mike's current warnings into account for that
tuner.

The radio likely doesn't work yet, can't tell for the other analog
inputs offhand.
