I have a suggested project in the DSpace area, yet we are already a mentoring organization. I can see definite alignment between our groups on this project however. Perhaps there is a collaboration here?

But I could really use some clarification on what "Linking Open Data" requires out of an application such as DSpace. Is it providing a SPARQL end point, is it embedding RDF(a) in our site content, is it fleshing out an Ontology for the DSpace "object model" or is it making sure all our "URI" are resolvable? I suspect all these things come into play, but having some detailed guidelines for enabling "Linked Open Data" in an application seem yet to come into existence.
