Hi all, There have been talks about the Semantic Web in Drupal since 2006<http://www.civicactions.com/blog/rdf_due_diligence>with the NINA/SONIA project, and different attempts to integrate it into Drupal (Semantic Search <http://drupal.org/project/semantic_search>, Relationship <http://drupal.org/project/relationship>). Last year at DrupalCon in Barcelona, we had 2 Semantic Web presentations<http://openspring.net/blog/2007/09/24/great-success-of-the-semantic-web-at-drupalcon>by Jonathan Hendler <http://semanticsearch.org/> and myself. Thereafter a bunch of us gathered to brainstorm and exchange ideas, and that's how the Semantic Web group <http://groups.drupal.org/semantic-web> started on groups.drupal.org.
Lately Arto released his work on the RDF API<http://groups.drupal.org/node/8930>, and I posted a Schema proposal <http://groups.drupal.org/node/9311>, mapping the current Drupal data structure to RDF. Feedback is welcome - thanks Fred for dropping by already! Finally, Dries mentioned that Drupal 7 would ship with an RDF API. best regards, Stéphane. http://openspring.net/ Hi all, > > > > People may have seen this video [1] already from Dries Buytaert's > > > > keynote at Boston DrupalCon2008, which shows DBpedia and the LOD > > "cloud".
