I could not find any mention of the Apple/Google Privacy-Preserving Contact Tracing Protocol: https://covid19.apple.com/contacttracing

Apple and Google control the technology in almost all the smart phones in the EU, so it seems odd to ignore this.

Of course the Australian an UK government ignored it, resulting in apps which don't work very well.
