# [GNU-767] Support changing SVE vector length in remote debugging - Patches to gdbserver to support changing the SVE vector length: There was an upstream discussion about whether changing the implementation from relying on expedited registers to relying on sending target descriptions over the wire was a better approach. Simon Marchi detailed his idea on how to do that and it does seem better.
