Hi Dan.  I'm afraid I can't reproduce this.  It looks more like a
configuration problem than a toolchain problem.  Did you provide your
own configuration or run 'make defconfig' before building?

Here's what I tried:
 * Downloaded busybox-1.20.0
 * Downloaded gcc-linaro-4.7-2012.04_linux
 * Extracted buysbox
 * Extracted gcc-linaro
 * Put the gcc-linaro bin directory in my path
 * Changed to the busybox directory
 * Ran 'make defconfig'
 * Ran 'make ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=arm-linux-gnueabi-'
