I've used both the emacs lilypond mode and Frescobaldi. I like the emacs mode because, well, it's emacs, but in the end, though, I think I prefer using Frescobaldi just because it has more music-related features than emacs (and the newer kmid playback is great, too). I was thinking recently what would really make Frescobaldi rock even more is customizable keybindings, I would love to have emacs keybindings. -- Brett W.
