Maybe you are using the qt-gui plugin, instead of the kde-gui plugin. The
qt-gui only has a Windowmaker dock symbol. You can use that with KDE's
program docking bar (which has to started via the context menu of the kicker
panel). Or you can compile the kde-gui plugin (./configure --with-kde)
instead.
