Patch itself seems reasonable; the ux-advise mail I saw seemed like
we'd got confused about what other people were doing & we've
accidentally gone out on a limb here. So; assuming Astron's ok for -3-6
- I'm donating a +1 to get it into 3.6.1 ;-)
