For 41007, a chain of patches has been submitted that unify image insertion behavior across all modules. The ability to insert multiple images using DnD and the insert dialog has also been added across all modules. The current behavior is approved, but a code review is needed. There may be other fields that should also have default values, but for now, the patch only includes those that prevent some extensions from being included in the output list.
