I am interested in doing some cleanup in the area I've been working on, but I'm worried about making such a major change; I get the feeling those are discouraged without a great deal of discussion. Of course I'm not interested in putting in a substantial amount of work into it, only to find out I've been wasting my time. I find it difficult to find guidance on matters of policy such as that.
