I'm working on a Tip-Of-The-Day dialog [1] that shows up when the user starts the program (not yet blocked for repeated starts at the same day). The patch [2] works fine but has some potential shortcomings. So I'd ask for review at this point.
Still missing is the examination of the strings. And since I want to have an option to illustrate the tips, a way to share those images is needed. I struggle with the makefile and put the tipoftheday.png manually at instdir/program/resource/ to get the final layout [2]. Could be any other folder too except themed images. Any help is welcome here.
