What was our EMF+ story in the end ? did this stay disabled or did it
get resurrected for Win32 and elsewhere ? :-)

I have tested the patch using the following up-to-date build of the
master branch with the patch applied:

And it works fine for me. So it's a +1 for me.
(btw, there's a crash when you play with the fonts menu a bit)
