I am working with Windows 7/64. Every time I try to open dBase-data
LibreOffice (latest version) LO stops working and doesn’t react any
more.

You can report a bug at the Bug tracking system (simply use
"Feedback/Bug Report" link in Help menu of LibO 3.5), currently no dBase
Crash is known except "Bug 43479 - LibreOffice Base crashes when
connected to Spreadsheet when "SELECT DISTINCT" used"
