Maybe a function in a context menu or something, such as "Delete blank line after table". It's obviously possible to exit the XML (as in https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=154372) to remove the paragraph, so I guess it should be possible from within the GUI, too. Can someone familiar with this issue point to the relevant place in the source code?
