Seems so. I found now that LO behaves like other apps, apart from MSO, it shows the wrong files but after a while it shows them correctly, with newest on top if sorted by date. Workaround: in File-Open I immediately paste start of a file (in my case bug number like 12345) and file appears. So I close.
