I too load a LO file and turn to do other stuff whilst it loads. It does annoy me that LO captures focus automatically. A similar bug was filed in 2013 and comments up till 2019 said it got worse (https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59803). Then this thread was opened but it was closed due to insufficient data. A screenshot is useless in this kind of bug. What can be uploaded is a video showing LO taking focus whilst working on another program. However it can be reproduced very easily: 1. Open Notepad 2. Double click Writer document 3. Turn to Notepad (Alt + Tab) and start typing Behavior: You will end up typing on Writer Expected behavior: Libreoffice should not steal focus but flash the taskbar button when loading is complete. A kind of "work in the background" possibility.
