Bug ID: 143504
Summary: Topics describing even/odd headers/footers should
mention page styles' "Same content on ..." option
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Documentation
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
These two help pages:
* Defining Different Headers and Footers [1]
* Alternating Page Styles on Odd and Even Pages
discuss how to organize alternating header/footer content on sequence of pages.
The only way discussed there is using alternating page styles. However, there
is an alternative suitable for simple cases, i.e. use of page style's "Same
content on left and right pages" and "Same content on first page", available on
Header and Footer tabs of respective style dialog.
These should be mentioned/linked, or discussed, on the said help pages, (1) to
allow feature discoverability, and (b) for completeness.
