OK.. I just tried opening it with 7.1.4.2
I clicked update index, and the number of pages remained steady at 390.. as it
should..
However.. when i cleanly open the attached file, it shows there:
155604 words
913163 characters..
then after I hit "update index", the count changes to:
23588 words
134055 characters..
but the page count stays at 390..
something glitchy going on there..
