I was about to file a duplicate of this bug, but luckily I noticed it.
I would also very much appreciate this feature. In addition to the use cases
Patrick mentioned, this is also useful for clearing manual formatting from
multiple instances; or clearing character styles which were set on some of the
paragraphs; or just for seeing them selected.
I'm mention it would be nice for this to be implemented for all kinds of
styles: Paragraphs, character, frame, page etc; but even an implementation for
part of the styles would be useful.
