I cannot reproduce in Ubuntu/gtk3.
When I press Ctrl+] quickly, nothing happens until I stop - and then the size
is updated. If I do it slowly, then the number nicely increments each time. I
never seen overlapping numbers. [Tested in 7.2+, last63onmaster, 6.3.5]
