--- Comment #9 from John Parker <[email protected]> --- This bug is vexatious. I write lots of procedures that require statements of the type "See Step n of 'procedureName' on page m". For these I create cross-references to n, 'procedureName' and m. The cross-references in LibreOffice Writer always work. However with PDF files exported by Writer, the cross-referenced links for ordered lists and page numbers do not always work. With ordered lists, @tutralex has shown that cross-references to list numbers having less than two digits don't work. Test document test3.pdf and its associated exported PDF file show that cross references to alphabetical lists don't work for list labels with less than two characters. Some page number cross-references are not working either. I had assumed that the reason was page numbers with less than two digits. However it seems that the page number reference must be at the end of the last sentence of a paragraph. A workaround for these problems isn't immediately forthcoming. But wait! You can export the Writer file to Word 365 and use that to export to a PDF fle. All links work. But having to use Word and buying into Adobe's once every 30 days Word to PDF converter, that's just rude. Come on LibreOffice—fix the bug or Writer will go the way of WordPerfect. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
